Scholarships

1. Łukasiewicz Scholarship

If you are Angola, Chile, Columbia, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Mexico, Myanmar, Mongolia, Mozambique, Nigeria, Palestine, Peru, Philippines, South Africa, Senegal, Tanzania and Vietnam citizen, apply for Łukasiewicz Scholarship.

Scholarship is offered by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Science and Higher Education.

The scholarship holders will:

• be exempt from the obligatory tuition fees in case of second-cycle degree studies (with a one-year preparatory course),

• receive a monthly scholarship to cover accommodation and living costs (in the academic year 2018/2019 a scholarship of 1350 PLN per month). The scholarship is designed for citizens of the developing countries except from Member States of Eastern Partnership.

The candidates should:

• have graduated in the field of science, natural sciences, technical studies, economics and others (first-cycle degree finished no longer than 3 years ago) or are students of the last year of a first-cycle degree programme,

• if the higher education system of a member state does not offer first-cycle degree programmes, the applicants are the holders of a Master’s degree or equivalent (granted no longer than 3 years ago), or are students of the last year of a Master programme or equivalent,

• have good command of Polish language, suitable for taking up studies in Poland.

Candidates should apply via Poland’s missions abroad (and submit there the full set of necessary documents).

2. Banach Scholarship

If you are Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kirgizstan, Tajikistan or Russia citizen apply for Banach Scholarship Scholarhip which is offered by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Science and Higher Education

The scholarship holders will:

• be granted a course of the Polish language,

• receive a monthly scholarship.

Nationals of the Member States of Eastern Partnership who:

• have graduated in the field of science, natural sciences, technical studies, economics, as well as European studies/European law,

• are the holders of a Bachelor’s degree (granted no longer than 3 years ago) or are the students of the last year of a first-cycle programme,

• if the higher education system of a member state does not offer first-cycle programmes, the applicants are the holders of a Master’s degree or equivalent (granted no longer than 3 years ago), or are the students of the last year of a master programme or equivalent,

• have a good command of the Polish language, suitable for taking up studies in Poland.
